The Short Story
Pantheon Arts Community Storytelling began our efforts to become official in January 2025 with a quest to enhance life by producing awe and emboldening the truths not heard in life.
Having gained our status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in September 2025, we get to create platforms to project the light of creation from within our voice as a common people, and empower change through powerfully published community-driven multimedia storytelling, but more importantly, we get to share that with you.
Our team is headed by Nicholas, a leader of business, writing, and entrepreneurship at PSU, survivor of Chronic Kidney Disease, and a polymath who connects many of the threads together as a deep lover of fantasy and stories, as well as the people who tell them.
Kat hails from the Midwest with a penchant for animals, design work and art, and a good emo song. She educates herself at PSU for her Masters in Art and Social Practice alongside this position in a part-time capacity to take the next steps in her own artistic quest.

The Long Story
Even though we began in 2025, the seeds of our story stem from a few places. The first would likely be from 2012, when our Executive Director, Nicholas was just starting business school, and in that first class he had an idea, but couldn’t translate it yet - so he used this example, “A business that worked like Jerry Macquire, but for Artists.”
This teacher didn’t laugh or anything, but after submitting a basic idea of the business, Nicholas was told that, “There would be no money in it.”, and being a first year knowing there was a lot to learn, he accepted that truth and packed it away to work on a variation in class that could be monetized. Nothing ever came from that idea either, and that is okay, it was a good way to practice!
Mountains take time to climb, and allow you to see choice.
No one else should have to do that. So, he banded some friends together and built the idea with their help to form a Community Cafe idea, but many of them have left since then for true and valid reasons: Rachel and Jarod, Jeremy, and Peter were a vital part of helping to spark this though and must be mentioned somewhere. They helped us to make this Adventurer’s Guild - Creatives Banding together to make the world better with art and love.
Nick and Kat knew that this was something that we could do, not perfect, but nothing ever is, and it's like that with art, and science, and seeking answers and finding only mystery and loneliness and misery from this system that none of us really decided to be a part of.
We want to help people change it; because those someones once told us to give up on dreams we didn’t even know existed yet.
Bright ideas within loud boxes are still muffled and hard to understand.
13 years later, with many pockets of plot that are relevant still, in the midst of graduation and applying for 800+ jobs over the year since graduation, there was one thing that just kept getting in the way, even years later. His Kidney Disease - even post-transplant. You can’t get time back, and when you do dialysis, you lose a lot of it, anything having to do with medicine and healing, really. College is about making connections and growing with your community, but how does one do that when they are also plugged into a machine 14 hours a day?
A successful OHSU transplant in 2018, so a long time since being affixed to that machine, and a lot of time alone from that and seeking mastery, not always by choice though (recently learned he had AuDHD). He was diving into this working world he wanted nothing to do with, like so many others, because there was so much pressure to do something with the piece of paper people go into debt for; even though there was a calling.
The bridge between the heart and minds is shorter than we think.
Spark Your Light
Together, we, partners, allies, and other sparksetters that join the cause compel the creation of this Artist Guild and Small Production Studio to rally you to a grand spark of light with an understanding. One you may already have, too. The understanding that we are not alone in this world in our efforts to make it brighter for all.
We (you too) have strived through traumas thanks to feeling this idea before we even understood it, but it goes deeper than that for us, as it likely does for you. Join us and our commune that builds events and connection, with our studio that seeds stories for brighter tomorrows, or join as a volunteer, and see how you can make that tomorrow a little brighter for yourself and others.
Who is Prometheus? What is His story?
A Greek Mythos that inspires us, among many others within the Pantheons of Creation.
The Ancient Greek Myth Prometheus tells a story about a Titan (those who came before Gods) who was said to be the creator of humanity and a driving force to their ability to create. In short, Prometheus stole the “fire of the gods” of Mount Olympus, and shared it with the humans He helped to forge from clay and flame.
Zeus was unhappy with Prometheus, as this fire of creation would make it harder to control those of his faithful - this was what Prometheus foresaw though, for with all his gifts, He was a being of foresight more than anything else, it is said.
As the giver of art and science (knowledge) to humankind, Zeus punished Him.
Chained to a rock, and set to have an Eagle, the righteous messenger of Zeus, consume their liver everyday (Ancient Greece believed that the liver contained emotions), Prometheus is an embodiment of rebellion to those in blind authority, as well as the innovation of the human spirit!
The story interprets many endings, but we read it as this:
Art and Science are how we take control of our reality, the cost of these gifts is consequence because it allows conscious choice where others would consign themselves, and suffering (liver being eaten) is the truth you understand as someone kissed by this Promethean flame.
We strive to be a legacy of this ember of creation, the space to hold space for the spark to breathe and catch flame.
We strive to be the bearers of that torch, and champion that light to spread to you, as well.
“We’ve been playing games since humanity had civilization - there is something primal about our desire and our ability to play games. It’s so deep-seated that it can bypass latter-day cultural norms and biases.”
