Our Team

Our small team works together through digital and hybrid environments to advocate for and bring forth the lights of our community.

  • Nicholas LaHusen - Executive Director & Head of Conception

    He/Him Pronouns.

An alumni of Portland State University, Nicholas brings a tenacity of spirit that invigorates others on the team. He emboldens those around him by imparting wisdom from PSU’s Business Administration program, as well as from lived experience from numerous physical and mental illnesses.

Through expertise gained from serving in non-profits, namely Portland Retro Gaming Expo and NW Kidney Kids, and a drive to usher light into the world however he can; Nicholas serves as the arbiter of this endeavor, and the onus is directed through him.

Our Board

Allow us to introduce our Board of Directors!

Pantheon Arts Community Storytelling is committed to serving the voices of those with less than heard from truths, and our Board of Directors seeks to exemplify that with the voices that serve on our Board. They meet once per month, hybridly/remotely near the end of each month.

Many of these individuals are still being searched for, they are people who would lend their power and experience in publishing and building community; each of them are educators, leaders, and those who embolden connections that support our mission in the PNW and the local, greater Portland, OR area.

Thank you for your guidance!

Our 501(c)3 status is active thanks to the efforts of our Director, our Registry Number is 234652394.

Members of the team serve on the Board, currently, and more folks are joining the party so that these brighter horizons can continue.

  • Chair & Acting Treasurer: Nicholas

Pantheon Art’s Executive Director serving as both Chair and Treasurer for now.

  • Image of Brian Parker from his website Believe in Wonder Publishing

    Co-Chair: Brian Parker

A multi-hyphenate creator, husband, and father; Brian grew up in Alaska, then Mississippi, and has always been in love with storytelling in every medium.

Literature, movies, art, you name it! With a BFA in graphic design and illustration, as well as a MA in writing and publishing, He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for almost 15 years in music publishing, corporate marketing, and sports & entertainment.

That was before what he does now as he spends his days working on and in youth publishing (so cool, right?) and teaching about the creative process.

Brian is always trying to learn and grow in the craft and finds joy in those moments where he is striving to bring the works of his imagination to life, as well as sharing that experience with others.

We are lucky to have him on our Board of Directors!
